" the spaces in between "

my room, no matter how tidy i make it, no matter how cleanly i arrange it, or organize it or reshuffle the major pieces in it or reroute cables within it or do anything resembling a rethinking of its layout in any manner, is still very very small.

i feel like a pine-nut in the shell of a pistachio nut, but with a loft bed.

" monday comes just in time for rain "

ten days ago, i decided to brave the rains in the search of eventual cheese.

today, i find myself freshly home from the essex street market, with cheese and bread in bag, and the drizzle drizzles lightly falling from an overcast sky.

i think it's pretty funny that this cycle seems to have spurred my non-bloggingness self to get on the horse and share.

maybe i need to eat more baguettes and cheese? but perhaps we can not include the rain, cause i'm over that...please?

tonight's homework:

draw something on a blank piece of paper. don't think about it too much, don't fret if it's not "the greatest piece of art in the universe!" don't beat yourself up for it looking silly. just draw one thing for about 3-5 minutes, and allow it to be amazing in its unpolished look. then, revel in the fact that you created something. you're amazing.

" two hours to cheese "

you're sitting in your room and outside, the rains are coming down like the dickens, and you've no umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay.

you're on a kick which includes both short stories and british comedy shows (spaced & the mighty boosh).

you have so many socks on the floor and none on your feet.

in about 2 hours, you're going to find yourself eating cheese in the city, and nothing could be better for today.

you smell terrific.
