parched lips,

crackle crackle wake up...


you notice your throats dry and sore,

the nasal passages raw and congested,

your body aches and you cannot quite pinpoint the way your body hurts.


it might be flu,

it might be a cold,

and all you can think is dammit,

why do i have to get out of bed at all today?
